Saturday Baking: Daisy Cupcakes

So this weekend I felt a random urge to bake something and as I'm the world's worst cook I opted for the simplest idea - cupcakes! 

Surprisingly, they turned out really well  (if I do say so myself!).  I made plain sponge in coloured cupcake cases and decorated the top with chocolate frosting and some pretty pink and white wafer daisies! 

I'm actually super proud of myself, I haven't done any baking for agess and I think these may be the cutest cupcakes I've ever made! I might actually start baking more and try something a little more challenging!
